I have not yet done a comparison of all the manuals, but my guess is that the final revisions of all the Command Station manuals have the beat/arps content. I did find some of that info in the PK6 manual which came out around 2002 when the 2.26 firmware was released. The P2000 addendums I have seen don't cover those new features either. The last version of the P2000 manual seems to cover firmware 1.10 but stuff like the arp/beat modes are not documented in that manual. That firmware comes with a bunch of new features like the Arpeggiators, Super Beats mode, Preset Modulation processors, etc. I found the 2.26 firmware and updated it with no problems. That would be a very good price in itself but I was amazed when I opened it up and found that I had a fully loaded P2000 with the COMPOSER, PROTOZOA, HOLY GRAIL, and TECNO construction set ROMS installed! :-) I've always wanted to pick up an EMU so this was quite a bonus.ДЄnyhow, the unit still had firmware 1.05 in it.

There is something i am missing in the enviroment i think but not sure how to find it On my soundcard control panel i can see the audio in the analogue in 1/2 & i can hear it through the speakers but there is no audio in the software out 1/2 I have auditioned the proteus & it does play but it carries on playing after i shut down logic which indicates that what i am hearing is what is going through the soundcard I have seen in my midi channels that 1 of the ports is for the m audio & i have changed the port to that but still no sign that i am using the proteus I can see that the proteus is recieveing midi as the midi light is flashing on the proteusД«ut i cant see where it is coming into logic i have tried to search for it in the enviroment The sound i have used the main out on the proteus to the analugue in 1/2 on my soundcard I have connected the proteus via the the midi in & out on the m audio soundcard I have a m audio delta audiophile 192 souncard i have my controller keyboard is an evolution mk449c which is connected via usb Hi i've just got my hands on a proteus 2000 sound module & i'm trying to get it to work in logic
